I'm not much of a wreath person, but I am actually kind of liking these little ones.

Books by Color

The majority of roommates that I've had over the years have all organized their clothes by color.  I'm much too lazy to do this, and I've never really cared what it looks like behind my closet doors (ok, or behind my bedroom door).  I am however really liking these photos I've seen of books arranged by colors.  I've seen so many photos of bookshelves like these, but I can't remember from what sites.  So here are a few I just found today.  I don't think this look is very functional; it would probably take forever to find a certain book, BUT it looks cool.

Did you know that you could buy books by the foot in whatever color and style you wanted?  I guess this is how people actually fill their shelves. 

I probably shouldn't buy any more books until I at least get these last purchases out of the box.

Fancy Frames

Painting a frame like one of these could be fun and potentially turn out really cute...ok, that is if someone else did it for me. 

It seems everybody is using chalkboard paint, I kind of want to test it out.

I think I actually prefer the mirrors, maybe I'm vain?

This one is hard to see but it's just a piece of fabric they have framed.

I wonder how well the spray paint actually works; do these look better in pictures or 15 feet away?  I also wonder if anyone knows of a large, gaudy, gold frame I could use, Mom?

So here I bought this rug at Pier 1 just because it was a good deal.  It was on clearance for $13.38, then the pretty saleswoman gave me an additional 20% off.

This pillow was actually pretty cute (the picture doesn't do it justice), and ruffles are my favorite.  I passed on buying it...this time.

I wish I could figure out a color scheme for my bedroom,  but I just keep finding new things I like.

I am in LOVE with this yellow headboard. Actually...the whole room. I love that it's so simple and seems like a room that is actually doable. I'm thinking I'll head to the D.I. tonight to see if they have any twin bed headboards :)
